Whats the big differences?

i am 17 year old i am in high school, but i only got 9 credits i only have 9 because thins at home are not good i miss a lot of school days so i was think that i should just drop out and get a ged but i want to know a few thing : can i go to collage ? how long does it take to take a ged in new york ? can i get a student loan so i can go to collage? and can i become a register nurse for gyn or a teacher with an ged? am i going to get paid lees in a gob cause i got an ged?
