Why do atheists not accept that many parables and bible tales can be part metaphor.?

The problem with metaphor is that a message can be twisted because someone might not see what other person see and thats why metaphor can be dangerous and thats why you have moderate christian and radical extremist who would like everybody to acknoledge creationnism, i think when you have some to teach, teach it clearly dont let it deform and reform by crooks and nutjob
