How much do travel nurses get paid?

I don't know about an ultra sound tech, but an RN with a bachelor degree, can work as a travel nurse making the same salary as permanent RN's in that hospital, which is $52,000 - $57,000 depending on location. You get free housing, utilities, food allowance and travel expenses. The apartment they give you is furnished and has fully equipped kitchen, bed and bath linens. All you need to bring is your TV, computer and clothes. It's a terrific way to save money and see the country. My daughter did it for a while - she went to Denver, Phoenix, Omaha, Memphis, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. You sign on for 3 months and if they still need you at the end of 3 months you can do another 3 months. After that you must move on to another location or take a permanent position there.
