If you can't deal with taking blood pressure, let alone emergency rooms, then I'm afraid the medical field just isn't for you. Not every birth goes as smoothly as what's shown on "A Baby Story," and you need to be prepared to handle that whether you're a midwife, an obstetrician, or a nurse. If you can't, then consider something childcare-related instead.
