Paragard IUD and spot bleeding, is it normal after having iud in for 6yrs?

I have been spot bleeding for several dayws now and I have had the IUD for about 6yrs. In these 6yrs I have never experienced something like this, I would alway have a normal period every single month, but for some reason this month it was different. I have been spotting for more than a week now and I already taken a pregnancy test and it was negative so i really dont know whats wrong with me, I think its maybe cause I have been stressing out, but still why would I only spot bleed. I have no clue whats going on and dont have the money to go to GYN right about now so any medical advice would help.
