Hello , i am going to do b.tech in IT...is it possible to do m.tech aerospace?

hi, everyone..i am going to do my b.tech in IT and i wish to do m.tech in aerospace engineering,but it seems that many r saying that those who have pursued b.tech in IT r not eligible for m.tech aerospace..wat to do..my aim , my dream all is towards the space field....pls guide me
