Does anyone else think MLB overdoes it every year with all the hoopla about Jackie Robinson?

I do agree mostly except with point four entirely. I do believe that he changed the game and his number should be retired throughout baseball. Except I only believe that they should do this if they honor the first latino player, etc. Also fozzy you said baseball had already been going on 8 years in 1884. This is untrue as the Cincinnati Red Stockings played the first game in 1869 15 years prior.
